Galaten 2:9

SV	En als Jakobus, en Cefas, en Johannes, die geacht waren pilaren te zijn, de genade, die mij gegeven was, bekenden, gaven zij mij en Barnabas de rechter [hand] der gemeenschap, opdat wij tot de heidenen, en zij tot de besnijdenis [zouden gaan];

ASV	and when they perceived the grace that was given unto me, James and Cephas and John, they who were reputed to be pillars, gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship, that we should go unto the Gentiles, and they unto the circumcision;
BE	When they saw the grace which was given to me, James and Cephas and John, who had the name of being pillars, gave to me and Barnabas their right hands as friends so that we might go to the Gentiles, and they to the circumcision;

Darby	and recognising the grace given to me, James and Cephas and John, who were conspicuous as being pillars, gave to me and Barnabas [the] right hands of fellowship, that we [should go] to the nations, and they to the circumcision;
ELB05	und als sie die Gnade erkannten, die mir gegeben ist, gaben Jakobus und Kephas und Johannes, die als Säulen angesehen wurden, mir und Barnabas die Rechte der Gemeinschaft, auf daß wir unter die Nationen, sie aber unter die Beschneidung gingen;

Sch	und als sie die Gnade erkannten, die mir gegeben ist, reichten Jakobus und Kephas und Johannes, die für Säulen gelten, mir und Barnabas die Hand der Gemeinschaft, damit wir unter den Heiden, sie aber unter der Beschneidung wirkten;
Web	And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given to me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go to the heathen, and they to the circumcision.
Weym	and when they perceived the mission which was graciously entrusted to me, they (that is to say, James, Peter, and John, who were considered to be the pillars of the Church) welcomed Barnabas and me to their fellowship on the understanding that we were to go to the Gentiles and they to the Jews.
